Congratulations Eagles on an Amazing Season!

This just in - Road trip to Providence~

Coach Greene has obtained tickets for the Plymouth North Eagles Hockey team to attend the Providence Bruins game this Friday, March 7, 2008.   **Unfortunately, the bus transportation has been cancelled.  If you still want to go, we will need to coordinate transportation.  Also, since not everyone was able to go, there are still about 20 tickets available if parents or siblings are interested in going.  Please email Tom Ahlstedt if you would like tickets and to arrange transportantion.  We can still plan to meet at the rink to distribute tickets and caravan from there.

Please respond to Tom Ahlstedt via email tahlstedt@jfwhite.com or phone 617-799-2955 (cell), 508-746-4234 (home) if your child will be attending.

The Plymouth North Eagles have defeated the Plymouth South Panthers for the first time in 7 years by a score of 5-1!  Justin Steeves glove hand was unbeatable tonight and, as usual, he had another incredible game in net for North.  The Eagles had 5 different goal scorers in tonights game.  The first goal of the night came early in the first period by Junior Michael Whouley,  followed by 2 more first period goals scored by Senior Captain Steve Wight and Senior Captain Emmett Cosgrove off an incredible pass from Tom MacInnes.  Junior Tim Lawrence picked up a goal in the 2nd period and Junior Tom MacInnes scored on a breakaway in the 3rd. Freshmen Zach Prifti and Dan MacInnes were both outstanding tonight.  Congratuations Eagles on a fantastic win.

Congratulations to the 2007 - 2008 Plymouth North Hockey All Stars.

Mother Nature brings an abrupt end to the Eagles Hockey Season

The Plymouth North Eagles Hockey Team needed to earn 3 points in 2 games to make the state tournament going into the Blue Hills Tourney Cup this past week.  They grabbed one point in a 2-2 tie to Hanover on Thursday and a win against Blue Hills on Friday would have advanced them to the tournament for the first time in 7 years.  The team gathered at the Armstrong Rink with high hopes of getting the win and continuing their season. Unfortunately, the Eagles received word minutes before boarding the bus that the Blue Hills AD had cancelled the game due to weather conditions and the players were sent home.   The game would not be rescheduled and the Eagles would not have their chance to make the playoffs.  Although the Blue Hills team was gracious enough to call the game a forfeit to allow the Eagles the 2 points they needed to advance, the MIAA would not allow it.  And there ends the season for the Eagles.  This Eagle Hockey Team walked away from their final team meeting disappointed with the news that their hopes had been stripped from them but more than that, they walked away proud.  Proud of the many fine moments that they shared this year as a team.  Thank you for all your hard work and for such an exciting season.  It was so much fun and we are so proud of you all.
